  1. 2011 Ferrous Pinot Noir, Kooyong

A darker and more restrained nose than the Meres. Rather than a panoply of mixed fruits, this is more dense and complex, with smoked meats, blueberry, ironstone, black olive, and a touch of Chinese five spice. A singular style with an exciting range of flavours. Tannins are quite firm on the back palate at the moment, and will soften with age.

  2. 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Miamup, Howard Park

A deep and inviting black cherry colour with floral notes of violets and fruity, doughy aromas of just baked blackberry muffins. The palate is soft, inviting, and full of free range forest fruits, vanilla, cocoa and loads of supple, fine tannin.

  3. 2010 Leston Shiraz, Howard Park

Vibrant dark raspberry in colour with expansive aromas of poached dark-fleshed plums, blueberry muffins, star anise, violets and mocha. The palate is reminiscent of pane forte - exotic spices and ripe plums, red fruits and chewy tannins.

  4. 2012 Leston Cab Sauv, Howard Park

Dark and dense cherry in colour with a bouquet of warm and primary bright fruit notes of black currant and mulberry with a perfumed lift of sweet mint, cocoa and freshly rubbed herbs. The palate’s opulent fruit weight and supple fruit tannins are deftly cradled by fine oak flavour and tannins. A mineral and chalky structure enhances palate texture and length.

  5. 2014 Ladies who Shoot their Lunch Shiraz, Fowles Wine

A deep ripe mulberry colour, displaying glints of youthful purple at the rim. Intensely floral aromas of pepper and spice play with rich red fruits. Palate is full bodied and complex with silky tannins and a generous length of flavour.

  6. 2016 Pinot Noir, MadFish

A bouquet of damask rose, cherry and spice. Vibrant and succulent cherry fruit with underlying savoury mushroom notes fill the palate. This wine has a silky texture, a fine thread of acidity and soft mouth filling tannins.

  7. 2011 Leston Shiraz, Howard Park

Vibrant dark raspberry in colour with expansive aromas of poached dark-fleshed plums, blueberry muffins, star anise, violets and mocha. The palate is reminiscent of pane forte - exotic spices and ripe plums, red fruits and chewy tannins.

  8. 2016 Pinot Noir, Stargazer

Dense purple hues give way to an opulent nose showing the red fruits which are typical of the Huon Valley: pomegranate, cranberries and rhubarb compote. Adjacent to the fruit is some earthy forest floor and ground coffee characters married with spicy side notes of cinnamon bark, orange peel and anise. The palate is lithe yet concentrated with long, fine tannins accompanying a creamy texture and generous sweet fruit.

  9. 2016 Cable Crossing Shiraz, Growers Wine Group

This powerful Shiraz is full of ripe plum and blackberry aromas, has a fleshy palate and with a very pleasant peppery finish.

  10. 2014 Cabernet Sauv Merlot, Madfish

This deep ruby red wine initially bursts with aromas of blue and black berries, dark chocolate, and coffee. Delve a little deeper and subtle hints of sage, mint, leather and savoury clove spice are revealed. Intense flavours of rich dark berries, redcurrant, and stewed plums rouse the palate, which are supported by a juicy acidity, fine tannins and delicate layers of black olive, dried bay leaf, and mocha notes
