  1. 2015 Red Rooster Pinot Gris, Peller

Clear and bright with a fresh, clean aroma of peach, melon, pear, yellow apple and marzipan. This rooster shows a slightly rich, round fleshy profile with peach, melon and a hint of spice on the palate. Then refreshing notes of orange, tangerine, lemon drop and yellow plum ‘take flight’ on the finish.

  2. 2014 Russian River Pinot Gris, MacMurray

With its rich aromas and flavours of pear, baked apple, dried fig and white peach, the Mac Muarry Estate Pinot Gris has an expressive, fruit forward character and a rich mouthfeel that will enhance with age.

  3. 2014 Pinot Gris, Urlar

An opulent dry styled wine with aromas of sweet pear, honeysuckle and stonefruit overlaying a generous mouth feel of great weight and depth. The creamy texture on the palate from the lees stirring provides the backbone to a long and lingering finish. An elegant wine with a beautiful balance that will reward cellaring up to five years.

  4. 2014 Pinot Gris Réserve, Trimbach

One of the noblest of the Alsace grapes, Pinot Gris produces a full, heady, rich and lush wine in Trimbach’s hands. It is technically dry, but the style is so fruity and full, with such a long palate that the illusion of sweetness is maintained. Watch out too for a smokiness on the finish. Its great depth is balanced by a crisp acidity that gives structure and longevity.

  5. 2013 Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle, Trimbach

Toasted nuts, marzipan and salinity underscore the peach and apple fruit here. A hint of honey adds nobility and relatively high acidity adds primary juiciness in the long, fascinatingly smoky, nutty, and mineral finish.

  6. 2016 Beurrot Pinot Gris, Kooyong

Bright straw colour. Aromas of struck match accentuate an expressive nose of bomboniere almond, spun sugar, nougat, lychee and sweet fresh hay. The palate is rich yet dry and structured, with a viscous texture characteristic of the variety, moderate alcohol and fresh acidity. The residual sugar is relatively low for this style, at 3.7g/L and helps to emphasize the purity and line of this wine. Best enjoyed whilst youthful, this wine will build further richness over several years.

  7. 2016 PGR Pinot Gewurztraminer Riesling, Yealands

Concentrated aromas of poached pears and melon, with underlying notes of quince and ginger - delicious!

  8. 2016 Pinot Gris, Yealands

Aromas of poached pears and melon, with underlying notes of quince and ginger. A full bodied and luscious palate, showing a fine balance between texture, fruit weight and acidity.

  9. 2013 Organic Pinot Gris, Urlar
