  1. 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, Stellenbosch, Thelema

Bright pale gold in colour with flashes of lime green, this wine is fresh, crisp and aromatic on the nose, boasting delicious gooseberry, melon and pineapple aromas. It is medium bodied and juicy, packed with fresh ripe melon and guava fruits and hints of bell pepper with a crisp, refreshing finish which is bone dry.

  2. 2017 Chardonnay, De Gras

Crisp clean tropical fruit flavours of melon and pineapple on the nose and palate, with underlying vanilla wood tones. Medium-full bodied style, with a long lingering length. Ends crisp and refreshing.

  3. 2016 Riesling, Sutherland

Off-dry. Fragrant, pungent orange blossom and lime character that is sweetish on the palate, and has a long finish. Will reward cellaring.

  4. 2014 Viognier Roussanne, Sutherland

Sun-dried apricot, marzipan and rose petal aromas, with rosemary undertones. This wine is big with some prominent leesy, toasty notes among the fruit. The finish is clean, fresh and minerally and very long.

  5. 2015 Rully 1er Cru Rabourcé, Domaine Jaeger-Defaix

A real success for this fine wine, with some pine, lemon and soft aromas showing through. The palate keeps on and on and evolves with a great depth.

  6. 2015 Chardonnay, Carrick Winery

Tropical fruits along with the cool climate attributes of Central Otago combine to make a truly amazing Chardonnay that could rival anything else in the world. It is a flinty elegant wine with good structure and balance. Barrel fermented in French oak.

  7. 2015 Langhe Chardonnay Bastia, Conterno Fantino

Delicate nose with fragrant hints of banana, butter, honey and yellow flowers, well-knit by unobtrusive wood. Soft, savoury and nicely crisp on the mouth.

  8. 2016 Organic Sauvignon Blanc, Urlar

This delivers zesty gooseberry, capsicum and lime flavours with a hint of passionfruit. While it remains a distinctively New Zealand sauvignon blanc the palate is full with great weight and length.

  9. 2014 Pinot Gris, Urlar

An opulent dry styled wine with aromas of sweet pear, honeysuckle and stonefruit overlaying a generous mouth feel of great weight and depth. The creamy texture on the palate from the lees stirring provides the backbone to a long and lingering finish. An elegant wine with a beautiful balance that will reward cellaring up to five years.

  10. 2015 Jurassique Chardonnay Arbois Pupillin, Domaine de la Renardière

Floral nose with lemony minerals. Full-bodied with butterscotch, chewy texture, cashews and custard. Kept lively with a vein of chalky acidity which runs through the palate to the long finish.
