  1. 2015 Ixsir Grande Reserve White

Pure golden hue. Enticing white flowers, peach and citrus fruits on the nose. Equilibrium between mellowness and liveliness on the palate which leads into a long finish with classy oak notes.

  2. 2014 Viognier Roussanne, Sutherland

Sun-dried apricot, marzipan and rose petal aromas, with rosemary undertones. This wine is big with some prominent leesy, toasty notes among the fruit. The finish is clean, fresh and minerally and very long.

  3. 2016 Viognier VDP de la Principauté d'Orange, Janasse

The nose is fresh, fruity and aromatic, with ripe tropical and dried fruit characteristics. The palate is medium bodied with a succulent texture, balanced alcohol and acidity and a great concentration of dried fruit flavours, such as apricot and peach, with a honeyed, silky finish.

  4. 2016 Viognier Reserva, De Gras

This exotic, sumptuously rich wine is packed with aromas of ripe tropical fruit and flowers. It is full bodied, dripping with juicy nectarine, melon and papaya flavours, finishing rounded and succulent.

  5. 2015 Viognier Reserve, Bodegas Santa Ana

Santa Ana Viognier Reserve has a bright golden colour with green hues. Aromas of stone fruits with an alluring complexity of toasted bread and vanilla notes. Rich and full palate with a hint of sweetness balanced by a racy acidity on the finish.

A rich, full bodied wine with aromas of stone fruits, toasted nuts and sweet vanilla.

  6. 2016 Viognier IGP, Domaine Cuilleron

This is an aromatic wine, with delicate floral notes and hints of apricot; fresh and dry.

  7. 2016 Viognier, Bogle Vineyards

Appetizing display of luscious aromas with fresh apricot and pear fruit tang on the palate. Balanced by the clean, floral tones of honeysuckle blooms and orange blossoms, this wine was fermented cold in stainless steel tanks to allow the varietal character to shine.

  8. 2016 The Hermit Crab Viognier/Marsanne, Originals, d'Arenberg

The Viognier certainly takes centre stage on the nose in the guise of stone fruits, candied ginger and florals. In the background for those keen on honing their senses, Marsanne adds slightly more exotic notes of green mango, hay and almond. The palate has a lovely medium bodied weight to it, without any of that oiliness that over ripe Viognier can deliver. Precise acid throughout and a mild pithy texture on the finish ensure freshness and spice to keep the sweetness of the fruit in check.

  9. 2016 Condrieu Les Chaillets, Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Cuilleron

Powerful and pure wine. Complex nose composed of the typical aromas from the grape variety. (Apricot, violet) interlaid with mineral aromas from the terroir and the roasted ones from the maturing. Straight and slim on the palate with a velvety touch. Few sweet spices at the final.

  10. 2016 Viognier IGP Pays d'Oc, Leduc

A vibrant, luminous colour with green hues. On the nose, peach, apricot and almond aromas prevail with a refreshing yet fruity palate with a smooth and round finish.
