Enotria&Coe Showcase

 

For one day only, Enotria&Coe is taking over Saatchi Gallery for their Annual Tasting. Customers will be treated to an extensive selection of premium wines, spirits and Champagnes under one roof and an opportunity to revisit, reinvigorate and re-energise their lists from an exciting portfolio that continues to evolve and grow under the leadership of Enotria&Coe’s Buying, Marketing and Retail Director, Jon Pepper MW.

 

On Tuesday 6th February Enotria&Coe will be showing hundreds of wines from their portfolio, and are delighted that over 100 producers from around the world will be flying in from all corners of the globe, eager to share their knowledge and passion for their wines and estates.

There will also be almost 60 stellar spirits brand owners on hand to showcase the breadth and depth of the UK’s leading range of spirits and liqueurs, and to provide inspiration for customers’ spirits and cocktail lists.

 

They will also be shining a light on gin – the much-loved spirit of the moment – and bringing their enviable and extensive gin portfolio to life. The inaugural Gin Garden will bring together a world-class collection of gins, catering to every palate, with flavour profiles ranging from the very floral and fruity to the herbaceous and spicy, as well as the flavour renegades. There will be a team of ardent gin enthusiasts on hand to share their knowledge and passion for the category, and to talk guests through flavour mapping, mixers and botanicals. London Essence have partnered with Enotria&Coe for the event, so that guests can experiment with a selection of gins and mixers and find out for themselves what makes the perfect gin drink.

 

Jon said, “We continue to be buffeted by the winds of political and economic change, and 2018 presents a challenging climate for our industry. In the 2017 vintage we also face the smallest global wine harvest in decades, due to a series of droughts, frosts and hail across Europe and the New World.  This has resulted in shortages of wine and dramatic pressure on prices. Despite all of this, the UK remains front and centre of the wine world, and our Buyers have been busily swilling and sniffing their way across the globe to ensure that our portfolio remains relevant, competitive, innovative and dynamic. This year we not only introduce new producers to the Enotria&Coe stable, but also welcome new wines from some of our stalwart producer partners.

It’s never been more important for restaurants and bars to have a carefully constructed drinks list which combines great value and inspirational ideas, and we have a host of new products to share with guests this year. We’re delighted to be adding Champagne Alfred Gratien to the Enotria&Coe stable as an exclusive agency Champagne.  We’re also launching the Sancerres of Laporte and some excpetional wines from Pfaffl in Austria. White wines from Spain are enjoying something of a renaissance, and we have added an outstanding pair of Godellos from Capellanes, as well as Mar de Frades Albariño.
