Domaine Bousquet
Domaine Bousquet is the legacy of a long and prestigious history that bears the Bousquet surname. A family with four generations of winemaking tradition, the Bousquet family comes from the Carcassone region in the south of France. 28 years ago they began their journey as pioneers in organic agriculture. They are the main winery producer and exporter of the “certified organic wine” category in the country and the greatest promoter of a sustainable path with their community.
Rodrigo Serrano is head winemaker at Domaine Bousquet. Native of Argentina's Mendoza region, Rodrigo was raised in Guaymallen, only 48 miles from Domaine Bousquet, giving him a deep understanding of the unique terroir of Gualtallary in the Uco Valley, which is reflected in the wines he produces. With a degree in oenology and extensive experience at both local and international wineries, Rodrigo has led the Domaine Bousquet team since December 2017. He now oversees 100 people and 272ha of land under vine, bringing an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit to the role. His approach is rooted in a passion for chemistry and a commitment to consistency and quality, aiming to craft elegant, high altitude organic wines that reflect the region. Rodrigo is known for embracing challenges and introducing new varietals and winemaking techniques each year, ensuring Domaine Bousquet’s wines remain dynamic and internationally acclaimed.
