Pioneering English sparkling wine producer, Nyetimber, was established in 1988 in West Sussex. Under Eric Heerema's ownership the winery garnered a global reputation for quality and is arguably the best-know English Sparkling wine in the world. The winemaking team is led by Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs and her husband, Brad Greatrix, who together have shaped Nyetimber’s distinctive house style. Cherie made history in 2018 by becoming the first non-Champenois winemaker to be named 'Sparkling Winemaker of the Year' at the International Wine Challenge, underscoring Nyetimber's expertise and innovative approach.

Nyetimber take an approach to viticulture and winemaking that marries traditional methods and contemporaty innovation to deliver consistently high quality. The estate spans several exceptional sites across West Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent, and vineyards are carefully selected for their chalk rich soils, which closely resemble those found in the Champagne region of France. Nyetimber exclusively grows the classic Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, and fruit is hand-harvested and sorted before primary fermentation, secondary fermenation and ageing on the lees to enhance complexity and depth. A dedication to detail results in sparkling wines that are renowned for their elegance, finesse, and distinctive English character.

Nyetimber's commitment to sustainability encompasses a range of initiatives aimed at minimising environmental impact, including minimal intervention techniques in the vineyard, and the installation of solar power plants at its winery to prioritise energy-efficient technologies throughout the production process.
