Vumbaca Giuseppe

The Vigneti Vumbaca company is based in Ciro (Calabria) and extends over an area of about 13 hectares, six of which are home to vineyards with spurred cordon and bush training systems, on partly hilly soils of medium sandy and calcareous clay; all organically run. Currently at the helm is Christian Vumbaca who, following 15 years in Rome - between university studies and work at a prestigious law firm - decided to return to his native land to dedicate his time to the company created by his mother Silvana and his uncle Enzo. The team is focused on caring for their vineyards, observing historic cultivation traditions and a commitment to the restoration of old vineyards planted using the Albarello training system (hence the choice of the company logo) and focusing on native Gaglioppo and Greco Bianco vines.
