Tasting note
The 2019 Napa Cab Sauvignon offers dark berries, cherry, and tea-leaf notes. Palate reveals juicy strawberry, raspberry, cherry, hints of mint, mocha, and chocolate. Smooth tannins, balanced by baking spice and oak, lead to a long, savory finish. Approachable now, with great aging potential.
Viticulture
Cabernet Sauvignon primarily from Rutherford, Calistoga, and St. Helena in Napa Valley. Diverse soils, microclimates, and clones, along with varied cultivation methods, enrich the flavor profile. Additional blend components from estate and select Napa Valley vineyards.
Vinification
Grapes destemmed, crushed, and fermented in steel tanks. After pressing, wine aged 18 months in oak barrels. Blend with various varieties before bottling for complexity. Adds finesse to finish, enhancing flavor and aroma.
