Tasting note
A straw-yellow colour with greenish highlights. On the nose floral notes with delicate fruity hints of peach and apricot. Sapid, fresh with a good balance on the palate.
Viticulture
Expertise drawn from ancient vineyards and meticulous production methods, reveals the region's true essence. Le Quaiare embodies Lugana's authentic character through precise pruning, thinning, selective harvesting, and late harvest techniques. Grown on gentle slopes near Lake Garda, vertical trellised vines boast a density of 5,000 vines per ha.
Vinification
The harvest is done at the end of September. The grapes are gently crushed and fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a temperature of 14° to 16°C. Ageing in steel containers on the lees at the end of fermentation for three months, with periodic stirring of the settled lees.
Food Match
It goes well with light and delicate fish dishes.
