Tasting note
Aromas of fresh lemon, white blossom, apple and lemongrass. This fruity Verdejo follows through on the palate with mouth-watering acidity, bursts of citrus and hints of stone fruit. The finish is long and fresh, lightly saline, and moreish.
Viticulture
The Verdejo grapes are hand-harvested from selected vineyards in Rueda, Spain. The vines are rooted deeply below the sandy topsoils into the clay and lime subsoils. Here the old vines thrive, producing grapes with concentrated fruit flavour and minerality.
Vinification
Hand-harvested Verdejo grapes from chosen Rueda vineyards undergo a cold soak on skins, extracting texture. Gently pressed, settled juice ferments in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures for freshness. Slow fermentation yields a vibrant, zesty, and fruity dry white. Aged on lees for three months before canning enhances the wine's complexity.
