Tasting note
An outstanding Burgundy, with excellent intensity of aroma and flavour, fantastic balance and structure, and deep, earthy richness. This gets even better with air, so decanting is recommended. Enjoy immediately or any time over the next 4-5 years.
Viticulture
Coming from two different parcels of Cote de Nuits, Les Boulardes planted in 1954 and Aux Montagnes planted in 1946. Both are clay and limestone soil. The total size of the vineyards is 1.66ha.

Food Match
Pairs excellently with red meat, beef, pork and lamb but also can be served with chicken and turkey.
