Tasting note
With a radiant yellow with golden hues, fruity citrus and pineapple aromas, and the subtle mineral notes provided by our distinguished terroir. An excellent, well-balanced Chardonnay with refreshing acidity and a fruity finish.
Viticulture
The Uco Valley, 110 km south of Mendoza at the Andes' foothills, offers unique conditions for premium wines. Our single estate spans Paraje Altamira, La Consulta, and Eugenio Bustos, with diverse soils enhancing quality. The wines feature floral aromas, juicy acidity, elegant tannins, and a long finish.
Vinification
Harvesting is mechanical and nocturnal to preserve fruit quality. The free-run juice is gently pressed at low temperatures and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 12-14C for 20 days using Bayanus yeast for fruity and floral esters. 95% ages on fine lees in steel for 4 months; 5% ages in French oak.
Food Match
Excellent with ceviche, buttered rainbow trout and/or seafood cocktails. We recommend serving at 8C.
