Tasting note
A med-full bodied, dry styled rose with delicate pale pink colour. Perfumed aromas of summer berries, violets and grapefruit are present on the nose. The acidity is fresh, but the texture on palate is silky and the weight is good on the mid palate with flavours of red cherry and spice finish the wine off. Ideally served chilled between 8-10 Celsius.
Viticulture
Grapes were specifically grown to produce Rose wines. Vineyards on the boundry of the blocks are used and also bordering the gardens.
Vinification
Grapes harvested in cool mornings, gently pressed, and fermented with three yeast strains for complexity. 10% in oak barrels, rest in stainless steel. Aged on lees for four months. Delivers rich colour and texture.
Food Match
The Rosé 2022 will pair well with light salads, spicy seared tuna or light pastas.
