Viticulture
Grapes for this wine were handpicked from several premium Napa Valley vineyards, including William Hill (27%), Sun Lake (22%), Cypress Ranch (18%), Sage Canyon (10%) and the highly-prized Stagecoach (6%). The remainder came from other selected growers.
Vinification
Classic destemming, 48-hour cold soak for rich cabernet extraction. Daily pump-overs, selective delestage for Petite Sirah & Petit Verdot. Evaluated individually, aged 16 months in French/American oak (40% new), medium to heavy toast. Unveiling pure, harmonious flavors
