Tasting note
Top-tier white Burgundy, full of vanilla, cream, macadamia and toasted almonds, with a scattering of spice and a wagonload of tropical fruit in the mouth.
Viticulture
Grapes are hand harvested exclusively from the Corton Grand Cru Vineyard.
Vinification
Gently pneumaticaly pressed and left to cold settle before fermentation at a cool temperature in steel tanks. Ageing is in french barriques, a mixture of old and new, and bottling is with only a light fining.
Food Match
This particularly fine white will accompany many full flavoured fish dishes (including those of Japanese and Thai origin), poultry and white meat with rich sauces or mild, soft cheese.
