Tasting note
Deep red robe. The nose, with a beautiful aromatic intensity, offers notes of roasting and cooked fruits. The mouth opens with aromas of liquorice and wood. The tannins are firm and structure this wine. The finish is of a good length.
Viticulture
The vineyard known as La Couleuvraire is located on the village of Baubigny facing South/South East. At the foot of the cliffs of Orches, the high-trained Pinot Noir vines grow on slightly stony, chalky clay soils.
Vinification
Winemaking in temperature controlled stainless steel vats, followed by aging for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels.
