In the press

93/100 - Rich, deep and complex nose of baked plums, dark cherries, cocoa powder, hoisin sauce, black mushrooms and mussel shells. Effortlessly full-bodied with abundant, powdery tannins on the palate. Long and densely packed, yet really polished. Drink or hold.

Tasting note

Harmony on the nose, silkiness, elegance and a long aftertaste, with a delicate mineral touch and a balsamic background.

Viticulture

Anejón is one of the first terraced plots in the Ribera del Duero and one of the few examples that we can find in the whole Appellation. Exahaustive selection of the bunches.

Vinification

After manual harvesting in small crates, the bunches go through a cold room and selection table where each grape is selected. Fermentation takes place in French oak vats with different formats. Aging was carried out for 12 months in new barrels, also made of French oak, with extra fine grain.
