Viticulture
This Barolo derives its name from the village of its vineyards. Some owned by the company, others from suppliers traditionally selling to Fontanafredda. Averageing 45hl/ha, vineyards span medium to upper slopes, facing south-southwest. Soils are Miocene-Helevatian, with limestone, alternating grey marl and sand content
