Viticulture
Leyda Valley Winery: Chile's cool climate gem, led by top winemaker Viviana Navarette. Proximity to the coast and the Humboldt current create a unique microclimate, delivering distinct freshness and balanced acidity. Established in 2001 as D.O. Leyda Valley, the wines from El Granito and El Maiten boast ancient granitic soils for a touch of minerality.
Vinification
Care cluster selection and gentle processing. 50% ferments in open steel tanks, 50% undergoes 6-day maceration. Alcoholic fermentation at 26-28°C for 10 days. Post-dryness, 2 days on lees enhance the palate. 30% in new French oak for malolactic fermentation; the rest in stainless steel for vibrant fruit. Aged for 13 months, bottled to perfection.
