Verduzzo
A unique white from Friuli, Verduzzo produces both dry and sweet wines with golden fruit, honey, and almond flavors. Naturally high in tannins for a white grape, it has a textured, slightly grippy mouthfeel, especially in sweet versions. Dry Verduzzo is fresh and nutty, while sweet styles, often labeled Ramandolo, are rich, luscious, and long-lived. With its balance of acidity and richness, it pairs well with aged cheeses, foie gras, or biscotti.
