The Felluga family has a rich history in the winemaking world, tracing their roots back to the 19th century in Istria. Over the years, successive generations of the family have migrated anti- clockwise around the peninsula, seeking out better wine markets. They first moved from Istria to the island of Grado, before moving further inland to Gradisca d'Isonzo. The winery is situated on a beautiful hillside overlooking the Isonzo River, with vineyards covering over 100 hectares of land in the Collio and Colli Orientali del Friuli regions. The unique terroir of the area, with its limestone soils and maritime climate, provides ideal conditions for growing grape varieties such as Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon Blanc. Today, Ilaria, granddaughter of founder Marco Felluga, continues the family winemaking legacy in the Collio area of Friuli. Her dedication to producing benchmark wines is evident in the exceptional quality of her products.
