Sigalas

Founded in 1991 by pioneering winemaker Paris Sigalas, Domaine Sigalas is widely regarded as one of Greece’s finest wine producers. Key to the domaine’s success is their use of native varietals to celebrate the unique terroir, establishing single vineyard expressions. Their winery is nestled between vines on the scenic plain of Oia, in the Northern part of Santorini. Today Domaine Sigalas comprises about 50ha of vineyards, all over 60 years of age, planted on volcanic soils. These vineyards are either owned by the estate, leased or tended to in cooperation with local grape growers who they have worked closely with for decades. All vineyards are cultivated in a sustainable manner and only the very best grapes are hand selected to go into Sigalas’ wines.
