Tasting note
Gorgeous, justly renowned St-Julien, aromatic with blackcurrants, leather and herbs, all enhanced by chocolate, spice and smoked oak on the palate.
Vinification
Hand harvesting, using lot selection. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at temperature controlled. Maceration: 3 weeks. ageing in Oak barrels, 50% new oak.
Food Match
A fantastic match with fillet of beef with a red wine sauce, but will pair very well with any red meat dishes, game or strong cheese.
