Tasting note
Lively, lemony Prosecco, crisp and aromatic, exuding pear drops and lemon with a faint breath of white blossom.
Viticulture
Glera grapes are grown in vineyards characterised by high sunlight exposure and cooler temperatures. All harvesting is done throughout September.
Vinification
The Charmat method is used to create this wine. Fermentation occurs in sealed stainless steel tanks for a period of approximately 20 days. After this, the wine remains in the tank for a further 10 days, resting on its lees to impart extra flavour.
Food Match
Light and crisp, this is an excellent accompaniment for delicate fish dishes with equally sublte flavours. Try it with scallops baked in shell, or a grilled crab starter.
