Tasting note
This Meursault is ripe and tropical on the nose, while the honeyed mouth is never cloying, thanks to fine acidity and well-formed fruit.
Viticulture
Sourced from hand tended vines exclusively from around the village of Meursault where grapes for some of the finest, and most expensive, wines in the world are grown. Green harvesting is carried out at the beginning of the ripening season.
Vinification
The lucky bunches that remain on the vine are hand harvested and transported as quickly as possible to the winery, where they are hand selected and gently pressed. Traditional vinification is used. Fermentation is completed to dryness in a selection of new and 2nd fill French barriques. The wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined.
Food Match
Fried shrimp with peanut sauce, Chinese barbecued pork with garlic sauce or salmon mousse with salmon roe and crudites.
