Tasting note
Argentinian red from old vines, the fruit overlaid with fumes of chocolate and tobacco and a sprinkling of black pepper.
Viticulture
Sourced from 50 year old Mendoza vines grown in deep and stony soil.
Vinification
Unamime is hand harvested in small plastic bins. Fermentation and maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks for 19 days at 23-25ºC before a natural malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels.
Food Match
Ideal with grilled red meat, stews and casseroles.
