Tasting note
Currants, ripe plums and cherries fill out this Chilean Merlot, preceded by a perfume of vanilla sweetness.
Vinification
The grapes are crushed and destemmed. Following some maceration on the skins, the alcoholic fermentation takes place with temperature controlled. Also the wine goes through the malolactic conversion to soften the acidity.
Food Match
Steak or fish in a red wine sauce or with casseroles. Also roast veggies and fried or grilled mushrooms. Also goes well with cranberry sauces.
