Tasting note
Fruity, floral notes, fresh and well balanced.
The nose is aromatic green apple, melon and white peach. The palate is balanced, smooth with a generous texture and a touch of petillance. White peach, apples and tangerine on the palate leading to a long, crisp finish.
Viticulture
From vines planted on granitic soils, mostly using single cordon (known in Portugal as cordão simples) with some pruned using the Silvóz training system. Planted at a density of 1,670 vines per hectare. Harvesting is by hand.
Vinification
The grapes pressed at low pressure to retain delicate aromatics of the fruit. Fermentation is in stainless tanks with temperature control ( 12 to 14ºC) over three weeks.
