Region
In 2001, the husband and wife team of Donato D’Angelo and Filomena Ruppi embarked on a new venture by acquiring 20 hectares of vineyards. Their goal was to produce consistently high-quality wines that would showcase the unique terroir of the region: Basilicata. The vineyards, situated on the slopes of Mount Vulture, were primarily planted with the Aglianico grape, which makes up 80% of the vines. Additionally, they planted Cabernet Sauvignon and Fiano.
