Domaine Cazes
Emblematic French fortified wine estate Domaine Cazes is by far one of the most respected estates in Southern France. Founded by Michel Cazes in 1895, Domaine Cazes is located in Rivesaltes, in the heart of the Roussillon region - "The French Cataluny" - between the Pyrenees Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. In 1997, fourth generation winemaker Emmanuel Cazes took over the estate from his father and initiated the organic and biodynamic conversion of all vineyards. Today, Domaine Cazes produces not only fortified wines such as Muscat de Rivesaltes, but has also acquired vineyards in different Roussillon appellations, including the recently created Clos des Paulilles in Collioure and Banyuls. Domaine Cazes is Europe's largest organic and biodynamic certified wine estate.
