Maison Sinnae
Maison Sinnae is the new brand identity of Laudun-Chusclan, which are two villages in the Southern Rhône, on the right bank of the Rhône river and close to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. With close to 250 growers, many of whom are young with a modern approach, they are also proud of their winemaking history dating back to Roman times. After a 12-year partnership, Laudun and Chusclan are now one. They chose to pay tribute to their history by naming their collaboration Sinnae. During the Roman Empire, the villages of Laudun and Chusclan belonged to the Romans and the site today is an archaeological site called Caesars' Camp, where Julius Caesar fell in love with the Goddess Cornelia Sinnae, in homage to this passionate relationship between both Romans. Sinnae is also certified 'Vignerons engagés', which is a French sustainable wine growing certification including the following guidelines: protection of the environment; a recycling scheme; a quality traceability scheme from the vine to the glass; ensuring producers are paid fairly; and support for local initiatives.
