Tasting note

Vineyard

All grapes come from our vineyards in the Maremma. Soil is sandy loamy, with two-thirds sand and one-third silt and clay.

Viticulture

We harvest the Merlot grapes a little earlier, so the alcohol and structure remain light and have a bright salmon pink color. Handpicking only.

Vinification

We let the must ferment spontaneously at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks without any contact time with the mash, before the young wine is aged on the lees for three more months.
