Catalunya is a renowned wine-producing region known for its sparkling Cava, invented in Sant Sadurni D'Anoia. It also encompasses the well-known regions of Penedes and Priorat, producing some superb still wines as well. Wine has been produced here for centuries, making it one of the main export products of the region.
