Fiano
A Southern Italian gem, Fiano is a textured, aromatic white with notes of ripe pear, toasted hazelnuts, and wildflowers. In Campania, it reaches its highest expression, particularly in Fiano di Avellino, where volcanic soils lend a smoky, mineral edge. Naturally low in yields and high in complexity, it balances richness with vibrant acidity, allowing it to age beautifully. Young Fiano is fresh and floral; aged versions develop honey, spice, and nutty depth. Its weight and structure make it highly versatile with food, pairing well with seafood, creamy pasta, and roasted poultry. A white of both power and finesse.
