Moscato
The Italian expression of Muscat, Moscato is synonymous with light, effervescent, joyfully aromatic wines. Moscato d’Asti, its most famous form, dazzles with peach, apricot, and citrus, lifted by gentle bubbles and refreshing acidity. Naturally low in alcohol, it is an ideal choice for easy-drinking enjoyment, particularly with fruit desserts. While often sweet, drier versions exist, showcasing its floral and tropical nuances. Though frequently dismissed as simple, high-quality Moscato can be surprisingly complex, capturing the sunlit vibrancy of its Piedmontese terroir. Few wines are as instantly charming and effortlessly enjoyable.
