Rioja

Rioja, with its Roman roots, shines in Spain's north. High altitude vineyards produce fresh, balanced wines, often aged in oak for softness and a spicy profile.

Rioja

Rioja is one of Spain's most famous wine regions, and has a viticulture history that dates back to the Roman Empire. Grown at altitudes, Rioja's vineyards are mostly planted with Tempranillo and Grenache grapes which produce balanced and structured wines. Many of them can age in barrels for extended periods before releasing to gain a special softness and spiciness that is characteristic of the region.
