Enotria&Coe Showcase 2019: what was it like?
Sniffing, swilling and sipping were the order of the day on 5th February, when Enotria&Coe once again filled Saatchi Gallery with a cornucopia of wines, spirits, beers and ciders for a hotly-anticipated day of tasting delight.
The largest ever number of wine producers and spirits brand owners were in attendance, filling 11 gallery spaces across the three floors. An immeasurable selection of drinks was on display, with several experts from brands, wineries and the wider trade available to help customers reimagine and reinvigorate their drinks lists.
Over 1,500 discerning palates passed through the doors of Saatchi gallery to taste our offerings. This included talented wine writers Oz Clarke and Matthew Jukes and all major trade publications. Many top restaurants, bars, hotels and hospitality groups also took time out of their day to attend.
This was a brilliant opportunity for us to introduce some new additions to our portfolios, in both the wine and spirits categories. This was also the year when our newly expanded craft beer and cider range made its debut, in anticipation of this growing trend.
In our continuing quest to evolve the event and further increase customer engagement on the day, this year we shone a light on future trends, as well as championing our portfolio stalwarts. To this end, each gallery hosted a trend-led focus table, to highlight our trend predictions for the coming year. We also curated a collection of craft beers and ciders for a hoppy hiatus from the wine and spirits.
